IFTA Due Dates 2026–2027: Quarterly Return Deadlines

Under Articles of Agreement R960, the return and payment for each quarter are due on the last day of the month after the quarter ends. If that day is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, the return is due the next business day. You file every quarter, even with no miles (R930.100). Some carriers with under 5,000 miles (8,000 km) outside their base jurisdiction can be allowed to file once a year (R930.200).
